Aint I a stinker?
Grandma used to call me that and I would take great glee in it. I don't know why, I just enjoyed being cute and bad all at the same time. Phrases like, "Happiness is a warm puppy" would make me squirm and the first thing that would pop into my head was some version that took it to the dark side. Taking something that was pure and sweet and lovable and bringing it back down to earth made it humorous for me. Elevating something and placing it on a pedestal just puts it into perfect aim for my slingshot. Or BB gun.

Welcome... or maybe not.
This is still only a pencil sketch. If it gets picked then I will ink it. I am not submitting finished line art anymore for Hustler toon edits as they have decided to put out three more issues a year meaning the cartoonists have to produce three more batches to cover the edits. No more money just more work. That sound familiar to working people out there? So now it's just pencils for Larry which will save me days of work. If things get picked then it's on to the next step in the process but not before.

Pacfish
Sorry, my posts haven't been daily lately; I've been workin'. I found a bunch of old covers for Hustler Humor which never made it that I will post more regularly in the coming days. This one harkens back to the days of Pac-man. Remember him? Here the piranas are little Pac-aranas. It also harkens to the days of watching old Tarzan films where the first ones to 'get it' were the native bearers. Usually the white guys are rescued by Tarzan right before their turn with cruel fate but after a couple of natives provide gruesome examples of what's in store. This was painted in dyes and tempuras.
